Nancy Young, RHU, CSFS
President

With a long history in health insurance and self funding, Nancy Young brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.  She helped create the Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS) designation and has trained thousands of insurance agents and TPA staff over the past 20+ years on the basics/benefits of self funding, medical management services and stop loss insurance coverage.  She has emerged an expert to turn to for creative risk management solutions.

​Nancy's unique experience includes business development and leadership roles for stop loss insurance carriers, TPAs and medical management companies.   Her extensive and comprehensive background includes underwriting, care management and data analytics. These disciplines make her uniquely suited to help heath plan's develop and maintain programs that manage risk, improve their bottom line and optimize healthcare dollars.

Since 1996, Nancy has served on the Board of the Health Care Administrators Association and on various committees and projects.  She continues to be instrumental in the development of new services and programs supporting the evolution of claims management and member programs.  Nancy also served on the Self Insurance Institute of America’s Health Care Committee and continues to invest time and effort volunteering time and support to the industry.
